Wondering if this has happened to anyone else since the change-over...

I received three books today from three different people. They were all in good shape and I clicked "received in good condition" for each of them. Shortly after I did this, I got a PM from the sender of one of the books asking me why I marked her book as RWAP and what exactly was the problem, since I didn't include a message. I checked my transaction archive and this one book was indeed marked RWAP with no message included. I told her it was unintentional and quickly marked it RWAP in error.

When I have marked books RWAP in the past, I was always thorough and included an explanation, a request for a response by a certain date, and a refund request if I felt it was warranted. I would never mark RWAP and leave it at that.

There is no way I could have accidentally clicked the wrong selection as I definitely would have noticed on the next screen where it asks for details. I was even more observant than usual today since the system is still new to me. I got the same "no problems" screens for all three books. Nothing asking about condition, etc.

The new system is supposed to require an explanation of the problem (you would have had to select from the list of options) so it does sound like a glitch. Please send in Feedback so the Team knows to look at the transaction to see if they can figure out what happened.

Lisa,

I hope you solved this mystery. I was thinking that when accepting a book in good condition, there is no next screen, so maybe you clicked on the middle button instead of the far left button and it went to a screen. I was hoping to receive a book today in order to test this, but no luck.

The first day the new system started I received an RWAP, but the message that it supposedly send to the sender didn't show up in my PMs sent, so I don't know if they actually go it.  They haven't responded.  I liked the old way better.

Sandra, the PMs that are sent with the transaction are attached to the transaction.  Go to your 'Transaction Archive' and click on 'Request Details' to see the PM you sent.
