I'm making some beaded wire flowers and wanted some advice on adhering them to various findings.  I tried jewelry glue (quick drying) but it turned white and ruined the look of my flowers.  What kind of glue would you recommend?  I thought about hot glue, but I'd rather have something a bit more permanent.  I want to attach to metal and wood.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

I'll let you know how things turn out, though it will be a bit since I'm not going to be able to get to a craft store for another week.  Though on the plus side, that gives me a full week to play around with the mini-lathe I bought today.

I have had success with E-6000 from Hobby Lobby. I expect you can buy it other places but I always get it from Hobby Lobby. It is a little stringy so you will have to go back once it sets up and pull the little strings off.
