I really enjoyed this book. As you know you will meet Parrish who owns a coffee shop that sells Fritters. BTW fritters are donuts without holes. So any book with coffee and donuts already is a winner.
This book reads like a funny fast paced movie, as are 3 main characters are men who all go by their last name, as men often do. Parrish, Duncan, and Mason. So men also talk like men, sometimes about the dumbest things in the universe, and sometimes those chats get deep. So most of their conversations go from inane to eternal.
As you were told in the summary, Parrish tells God he is all in. Then his fortune cookie tells him to "take the corner". At the corner he meets two women, and finds a pretty personal letter. His mission now is to find the owner of the letter and return it, or so he thinks. Where Parrish seems to get everything wrong,God still seems to get things right.
I really wouldnt miss this book, it is packed full of some nice truths. It wont get preachy, or use any bible verses, and if you expect an altar call you wont get that either. So not your super religious Christian book, but also not a hit bottom need a hand up book. More about listening to God, cause maybe he is speaking.
I am off now to see what else this buy wrote.
