I have a hard time with fiction these days however, I have read this book and it is an interesting way to look at how God works. This book uses a near middle aged woman with a string of failures to show us how God works in our lives when we are ready to receive what he has for us. There are no biblical quotes or anything that some people may find intimidating or in your face so to speak. This is just a story that many people will find easily relatable.

When the student is ready the teacher will appear... This quote is nowhere in the book but it explains how this book found its way into my life and made something click. Going through a rough patch in my life this book just jumped off the shelf at me. It is short and sweet - but gives you plenty to think about. I read through is quickly the first time and now I am rereading it - this is something I very seldom if ever do. It really hit home for me. I definitely recommend!!

A very simple book that makes you smile in the end and also makes you think about your own life and what you are doing with it.

What a fast read (big type and only 147 pages) and what a wake up call to how I'm living my life. This book totally was talking to me (especially since the main character and I share the same name) and I had to agree with everything that was being said. Very well written book - HIGHLY recommend it to everyone.

This book is NOT Christian. It states that even God is not perfect, but is continually evolving just like everybody else. What rot! Reader be aware.

My 25th time reading this, every time I think I need to have an upbeat read, this is the book I have purchased over 50 copies in the last few years and have passed along to other woman, I just tell them when you are done with it pass it along to a girlfriend cousin or whoever you think might like a little up in their lives

This book was very inspirational to me at a time in my life when I needed it most. It helped me to not focus on my situation and surroundings and blame them for where I was. All I can change is me, and through that transformation then your surroundings and situation can change.

Simple story about a woman seeing God in a different light and listening to him in that light. I liked its simplicity and ordered another title from the author.

A very good book. From the back cover: At thirty seven Christine Moore had a world class case of burnout, a fustration career, a few dead end romances and a less than perfct figure. Little did she know her life was about to change completely.
