This book, "A Gymnasts Olympic Special", provides a perfect cap to Levy's The Gymnasts series. The double-sized edition is told from the point of view of the girls' Olympic hopeful friend, Heidi Ferguson, whom they met earlier in the series. After reading about the improvements made by the Pinecones, a beginning/intermediate level team throughout the previous 20-some odd books, it was especially rewarding to follow Heidi's attempts to make it to the Olympics with her friends in tow as cheerleaders.
