If you sign up for Gold Key membership, and take your WL up to the 300 book limit, and after a year or so decide you no longer want to participate in the program, what happens to any WL books you have over the 200 standard limit?  Do you have to go through and bring your list down to the 200 or do you get to keep your list at the 300?  Just my curiosity kicking in for the day.  Pat

I think the last 100 that you added just get deleted automatically off of your list, so if you decide to stop having Gold Key, it would be smart to check your WL before it runs out to see which 200 you want to keep & which 100 you can do without.

I could be wrong about that, but that's the way I understand it.

From the HC:

Q: What happens if my Gold Key membership expires and I have more than 200 books on my Wish List?

A: The most recently-added wishes over 200 will be moved to your Reminder List on the expiration date.  If you resubscribe to (purchase another year of) Gold Key membership within 2 weeks of the expiration date, your wishes will be restored to your Wish List in their previous positions in line.
