This is my second month on the gold membership. I thought we had one free .30 credit a month? It did not let me use it last month nor is it giving me the option for this month? Why is that?

Well, I could be wrong about this, but I believe you get 1 free postage transaction fee a month ONLY if you use printed postage.  Do you use PBS postage?

The fee is waived for me once a month when I print out my postage on here.

Per the help docs:

Gold Key members enjoy one Courtesy Postage Fee per month (each fee = 55 cents, so that's up to $6.60 annual savings)

If you go to your main My Account page, you can find your money registry in the yellow bar at the top.  You can check to see if fees for printed postage have been waived.  If they have, you'll see a notation similar to this:

Reason: Postage Printing Fee (Fee Waived - March)    Amount: 0.00

Yes, you have to pay the full postage printed on the label to get the fee waived.   I make sure I get mine every month!

It is the full postage 0.55 waived, not the 0.30 DC-only that you mention. You will need to upgrade a package to the full postage every month to take advantage of the benefit, you don't get a partial credit on the lower service.
