Amelia Peabody and her family are busy finding new tombs in Egypt while battling tomb robbers and England's enemies during World War I.
absolutely fascinating and tons of fun. one of the 19th century egyptologist Amelia peabody books.
Perfect Amelia. Terrific story with lots of action. This is a really good one.
Very interesting but rather fantastical.
Another supenseful tail involving the Amelia Peabody and family. The year is 1917 and the Great War shows no sign of abating. The family travels to Luxor where they soon are caught up in a new adventure dealing with a ransacked tomb, and a freshly and savagely slain corpse. Meanwhile Ramese feels compelled to answer a call from the British intelligence--a mission that will prove as perilous as it is personal.
Another great book in the Amelia Peabody Egyptology series. This makes a great audio listen as Barbara Rosenblat is one of the best narrators and she does a fantastic job with the different voices/accents.
Fun story in the Amelia Peabody series set in Egypt. Six hours on 5 CDs. Read by Barbara Rosenblat. Abridgment approved by the author, Elizabeth Peters.
