Although I was initially put off by the title and cover photo to the book, I am really glad I ordered it. I listened to this on CD and thought it was a great read. The narrator has a really nice voice, the story is interesting, very poignant at times, quite humorous and it was easy to relate to the main character. I passed it on to my niece who loved it, too.

Sexy romp? Not at all. This is a story about the hard facts of life and how one woman handled what she was dealt. Inspiring, sad, uplifting, wonderful story. I relished the trip to and from work just to hear another chapter in Cannie's life. What a splendid book. Highly recommended.

I really liked this audiobook. The story is plausible, the main character totally likable. And is very well written. I could totally relate to the protagonist, and sympathize with her. All in all, I really enjoyed this story.

I got this book under the Erotica category, however, it does not have any erotica to speak of. It was however a good romance story.

I read the book and listened to it on this audio CD and loved both of them. I could not stop laughing the whole time I was reading and listening.

A good story to relate to, whether or not you are a larger sized person. Good laughs!
My least favorite Weiner book. Though it does deal well with women off different sizes and our self-consciousness, a lot of the characters were unbelievable and distracting. Entertaining, none-the-less.

This is one of my most favorite books I've "read" lately. I will say that I didn't love some of the way it was read, but the story is so worth it. I was listening in the bath and it got so good that I had to stay up until 3 a.m. to see how it ended!

Much different storyline than I first suspected. Author kept me listening and interested. A bitter woman starved for her Father's love and attention. I related to her. I can't say I enjoyed her story but it was so well written and full of interesting characters. The story built up to a satisfying ending.
