THE CHARACTERS ARE TRUE TO THE LOCALE AND ENVIRONMENT AND THE AUTHOR PROVIDES A MASTERFUL INTEGRATION OF PLOT AND CHARACTERS WHILE LACING THE STORY WITH SUPERB DETAILS OF NATURAL AND HISTORICAL OBSERVATIONS AND A TONGUE IN CHEEK TWIST.
