Has anyone taken one?  Is it worth it or not?  I don't want to take a workshop and it be a waste of money.

I haven't taken one but it looks interesting. They have some free classes and workshops offer so I'm going to try and see what I can find that will work with my schedule. My MIL lives in New York and  know she won't mind us coming for a visit so I can try one out.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has taken one either. A year or so ago I was interested, but at the time the romance writing class I wanted was about $300. Out of my league. At least for now.

I will say I have tried the WriterU workshop. It's done from a Yahoo group. I took a romantic suspense one for $25 and in my opinion, it was a waste of money. I was hoping for exercises or something to that affect... But it was strictly lectures from the author with people able to post responses. My personal experience, (for what it's worth) I wouldn't recommend WriterU.

Sorry, I know this wasn't about the Gotham one, but I had to add my thoughts on the one online workshop I did try.
