I had ordered 'Real Murders' by Charlaine Harris & received it yesterday. I opened it up to start reading last night & noticed it was autographed. That was a first for me on here. :)

I've  gotten 2 from here @ PBS. One from Leanne Banks & one from Bella Andre. I thought it was awesome, because I never get to go to author signings!  From Charlaine Harris...that's really awesome! Is it a keeper for you?

Yeah, I'm collecting the new editions of the Aurora Teagarden series.

That's pretty neat.  I've gotten a couple from ebay (C.J. Cherryh and someone else I can't remember) but none from here.

I found out that an acqaintance of mine had written a mystery a few years ago.  I was able to get it here on PBS.  When I told her I had read it and enjoyed it very much, I didn't tell her it was autographed!

I've never gotten one from here (yet), but I've sent at least one out.

I've never gotten one from here.  I did win a contest from Writerspace and won a autographed copy of one of Barbara Brentons books though, have yet to read it though.

Never received any, but I post quite a few in swaps from when I meet authors at conventions.  I have kept a set of signed Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampires though.

I got a book that was autographed, and not just autographed, but a little note to the person it was autographed to.

i think i've gotten two.  both anthologies where one of the authors had signed the title page for their story.  one i sent back out, the other i got more recently and is still on TBR.

on my shelf i've got an autographed poetry book i won from the local FOL summer program a few years ago, apparently from a local author.

Yeah, I've gotten one or two. I remember one was a Susan Elizabeth Phillips book. The other one I can't remember, a newer published author I think.

I got one from the author who is another member here.  I was hoping when I seen who was sending it to me that it would be.  I was thrilled for days.

Forgot to mention all my Justus Roux are signed (purchased directly from her on E-Bay) and I have one from Ellora's Cave where all three of the authors in the book signed it.

I got one here, It also had a couple of book marks advertising books from the same author. Sent it out months ago with the books marks still with it.

I've gotten a couple and have sent them back out since they weren't ones I wanted to keep. It was a nice surprise, though, to open a book and see that it was autographed by the author!

I haven't received any through swaps, but have sent a few out.  One was Debbie Macomber.

(Matt--I just posted a book by C.J. Cherryh.  I had never heard of the author until I saw this title at the library.)

Matt--I just posted a book by C.J. Cherryh.  I had never heard of the author until I saw this title at the library.

C.J. Cherryh is one of a few authors whose career was pretty much made by DAW books, so I own a good number of her novels as part of my collection.  Oddly enough, though I'm the biggest SF reader in the family, I heard about Cherryh from my mother :p  My signed book is Forty-Thousand in Gehenna, though unfortunately it's in pretty rough shape.
