Love Anne Lamott, but enjoyed Traveling Mercies and Operating Instructions a whole lot more than this one.
The honesty of Lamott's words are refreshing!
Very good book
Anne Lamott writes with self deprecating humor. The book isn't very deep, but it is fun to read.
A good end to the trilogy (Traveling Mercies and Plan B). This book is ripe with humor and a delicate insight into the profundities of everyday life.
As always, Lamott is as insightful as she is funny. Her honesty about her own brokenness is refreshing and gives the reader freedom to be as honest with himself.
Although Lamott is much more religious than I am, I enjoyed her perspective on life and her self-deprecating sense of humor. I also really, really enjoyed her criticisms of Bush and his cronies.
