typical Cameron mix of archaeology and mystery (this time in Old England rather than New England!) with a touch of romance

Archaeology and mystery - a perfect pair for me, especially the British setting of a small town. Enjoyable.

I'm currently reading book 4 of the series, and so far, Grave Consequences is my least favorite. I think that partially has to do with it not taking place in New England, like the others I've read so far, but rather, in Great Britain. Being from New England myself, I like the familiarity of reading books that take place in a locale that is familiar to me, even though the names and places are fictiional, for the most part. That said, I did enjoy the book and have now bought all 6 in the series.

Emma is delightful and if you like archeology and foreign setting this ia a good one, as she is spending her summer in England.

This wasn't as good as I expected. The climax was, well, anticlimatic.

Emma Fielding spends her vacation in England helping friends excavate a twelfth-century Abbey. Unfortunatley the excavations uncover a all too mondern skelton in the dig.
Then a second body is discovered. It is the body of a missing student. Emma is once more off for an exciting adventure. Following the detective work, as well as enjoying the scene of the ancient abbey makes for a good read. Recommend.
