This book deals with the idea of a gypsy curse. Hint: don't steal stuff off of dead gypsy kids!!! A decent book, was entertaining.

The owner/operator's of a funeral home and a gypsy funeral tie the group together in a mysterious way. Much better than FAMILY INHERITANCE, which was still an okay read. More mysterious Louisiana style.

A 19 year old gypsey girl dies. Her funeral is huge with hundreds of gypsies attending. A coin is stolen from the body and a gypsey wrath is unleashed. Great book--thrillling!

"In all their years at the funeral home, Janet and Michael Savoy had never seen anything like the viewing for the nineteen year old Thalia Stevenson. That's because they had never seen a Gypsy funeral before, complete with rituals, incantations and a very special gold coin placed beneath the dead girls hands...When that coin is stolen, a horror is unleashed. If the Savoys don't find the coin and return it to Thalia's grave before the rising of the second sun, someone in their family--perhaps their daughter--will die a merciless death. The ticking away of each hour brings the Savoy family closer to a gruesome, inescapable nightmare. Only one thing is certain--Gypsies always have their revenge...even the dead ones.

This story is NOT slow by any means, any book takes some time to get started but when this one gets started it really takes off and you won't put it down.
