Perhaps it was just me..but I could not get into this book. I tried 4 times to read it and I just didn't get it. So I've re-posted it in hopes that someone else will enjoy it!

UGH! This is utter trash purporting to be literature. Even a book explaining the symbolism behind this novel (?) didn't help. I forced myself to read it until I got to the vignette about the general with the extraordinarily bizarre taste in prostitutes (What is the symbolism here?). If you want pornography, read de Sade; at least he is understandable. To borrow from Nancy GraceâIT'S TRASH !!! However, throwing this book out with the garbage will only pollute the landfill.

A few months after the German's secret V-2 rockets began falling on London, British Intelligence discovers that a map of the city pinpointing the sexual conquests of a Lieutenant Tyrone Slothrop, U.S. Army, corresponds identically to a map showing the V-2 impact sites. This sends him on a amazing journey across war torn Europe..
