Topic: Do I have great buddies or what?

A buddy just gave me 5 book credits. I have no clue why, but he had pm'd me that he liked my eclectic pen writings. I wonder what I did to deserve this generosity? He does like my writings and we've exchanged emails several times. He's encouraging me to write my own novels. Sort of infatuated with me based on my writing, I think. I'm flattered, but don't think I have the creativity or talent to publish my own novel/s. On the other hand, I have a different writer friend who I think has a brilliant future as a novelist ahead of him. He's a professional writer in another capacity. I'm encouraging him to check out the romance genre and sending him copies of some of the AAR top 5 novels to show him the work of some of the top writers in the genre. I'm encouraging him and helping to develop him into a successful romance author (hopefully). He's also a really nice guy. He'd like to write screenplays, but I've pointed out to him that romance is the best selling book genre and he could be a lot more successful if he checked into the market for romance novels.

Interesting; same buddy just offered to send me a plane ticket to Chicago so I could come see him ;-D. How do you like that? I declined, of course; told him I could only handle one online lover @ a time. He told me to get rid of the other guy. |
