What made 18th Century Parisians run about town hanging all the cats they could catch, why the wolf in that century's version of Little Red Ridinghood ate the girl at the end. Intro to the Age of Enlightenment.

Very enjoyable to hear how the French fairy tales were created and the stories behind them. Also, really liked the story behind the Great Cat Massacre. So interesting to read about life at different times.
