This book has many retro-fashion items that are interesting to consumer in the 21st century. The 60's and 70's big bold and colorful style of crochet is evident in the patterns found in this book. I have found most of the patterns easy to follow, but this book is probably not for beginngers. The toys worked up quickly and are well liked by children of all ages.
