I have 2 great fictionalized novels about Jewish families of New Yok by Belva Plain

THE GOLDEN CUP.  Set in the turn of the last century New York.  "A story of three generations involved in immigrant struggle, war and passion."

TAPESTRY.  A continuing saga about a tightly knit aristocratic German-Jewish family.  There are two previous novels, EVERGREEN and THE GOILDEN CUP.  Each novel is a complete story and reading them "out of order" is not a problem. They are all "gems!"
