This is one of my favorite of Spark's books. A love story mixed with suspense...some might think it's predictable but I enjoyed it.

This was my first Nicholas Sparks book and I loved it. It had just the right mixture of romance and suspense and I plan on reading more of his books after this one.

I never knew Nicholas Sparks could write like this! Suspensful and unpredictable, this book is probably the best book he's written in my opinion.

This book was a page-turner, although the plot has been used by many other authors.

I find that I enjoy Nicholas Sparks later books better than this since his newer books seem to have more emotion in them and more time is spent developing the characters than was put into this book.

The book is still a good read due to the mystery aspect of it--I just wasn't overly sympathetic to the characters.
