I'm starting a new one since the other one is up to 11 pages now. Brownwyn guessed the book but said to start a new one for her since she'd be away a couple days. So here goes-I'm bad at these so this is probably the only way I'll get to start one. I hope it isn't too easy or to hard. I just picked one of my keepers.
He wasted no more time. Straddling her hips, he stared down at her body, at the way her chest rose and fell with her deep breaths. He unbuttoned his shirt and shrugged it off.
______(heroine) groaned at the sight of his bare chest and started to reach for him. He smiled and caught her hands.
"No, I have a certain way I like to do things, sweetheart. And seeing as we'll be doing this a lot ....."
"oh yeah definately. So we might as well start out right". He pulled her into a sitting position and removerd her glasses, tossing them aside, then stripped the robe off her shoulders. Holding her wide gaze, he pulled the soft chenille belt out of the belt loops.
He could feel her trembling, both alarmed and excited. "Don't ever be afraid of me, __________" he ordered quietly. She licked her lips, eyeing that soft belt and nodded. "Good girl" Her acceptance pleased and provoked him. "now lie back down."
She was practically panting, her eyes unblinking, her lips parted. __________(hero) couldn't help but smile at her "put your arms over your head, as far as you can. Try to reach the top of the bed"
She gulped, but she slowly did as he ordered. Blood rushed through his veins at her compliance. And better still, he could feel her excitement, almost as great as his own. It was like she was his exact match, a perfect soul mate, and his body and mind recognized that fact, making all the feelings more acute, more important. Taking his time making the anticipation build, he held her wrists together and looped the belt around them, then tied it to one of the sturdy posts at the top of the bed.

I will take another guess...
Is it Devil's Bride by Stephanie Laurens?
I know it is a book I read in the past month unless that is just a very common scene :-)

Finally--one I know!! ;)
It's Tangled Dreams, by Lori Foster, about Chase Winston. It's part of The Winston Brothers. I think it was originally in some other anthology, but I don't remember which.
Does anyone else want to come up with something? I'm really awful at this, so if anyone else has something in mind, feel free to jump in!
Yay! Finally one I've read and remembered ;) I checked and Chase's story was originally released in Charmed, an anthology with Jayne Castle (aka Jayne Ann Krentz, Eileen Wilks, and Julie Beard.
If I have some time, I will try to find something appropriate to start us off again, but seriously, if anyone else would like to jump in, please do!! :)
Okay, here's a snippet:
"Okay, I get it now. This--tying guys to your bed--is how you get your kicks."
She turned off the water and dried her hands. Surely she hadn't heard that right?
"Normally, I don't go for the Suzy Homemaker type. But I suppose I could make an exception. Of course, first I'd want to see you nak---"
She swiveled around. "Are you out of your mind? Are you trying to tick me off?"
Propped up against the headboard, his legs stretched out, he hitched his shoulders a scant half inch. "Got your attention, didn't I?"
"Oh, yes, you did do that." She gave a theatrical sigh. "And to think three hours ago I was actually pining for the sound of another human voice." She leveled her gaze at him. "So what is it you want to say that I just have to hear?"
"How long do you plan to keep me chained like this?"
She gave a little shrug. "A variety of things. Your health. My mood. Whether you persist in making any more objectionable personal comments."
One level black eyebrow rose. "Is that a threat?"
"More like a promise," she said sweetly.
Hee--Mary, I didn't consciously try to continue the bondage theme, but maybe yours planted a seed :)
I'm not sure what kinds of hints to give (or how often?)--I'll start with that it's a series romance, (obviously) contemporary. No daughter... (Brandy, I'll have to check out "Clay"--haven't read any Jennifer Blake yet!)

Oh shoot, I was sure I had it,
Fedora, Definatly check out Jennifer Blake, "Clay:" is the 2nd or 3rd in her "southern gentlemen" series. All of them are about one family in Louisiana, just dripping with good ole southern charm and sex appeal
