I had a dream when I came to Nashville, but I didn't know at the time that I just didn't dream big enough. Maybe I didn't become the female vocalist of the year, but I was friends with those who did. I shared their experiences and they had my support and I loved their dream with them; now I write about the love that we knew as a family of friends. Even though they wore rhinestones, there was no glitter in the friendships we shared; just common down to earth people who had a dream and saw it come true.
Today as I look back over the years it actually scares me to think of where I've been, the people I have known, and the great memories I have experienced. This book is not a 'tell all' but a 'lived all' of the excitement of those growing years of this great music called 'country.'
