Want a job you can do at home? Some indexers work in offices, but many freelance. Obviously, you like to read if you're here; if you also like word games, crossword puzzles, language, and organization, you might enjoy this field. This is not a stuff-envelopes scam. Indexing and abstracting is a very mental (not menial) job. The book describes the job, who hires them, qualifications and training available, equipment, etc. There are courses available, including seminars and correspondence courses. The book has a bibliography and a list of professional organizations. It has a plastic spiral binding. The correct authors are Ann Marie Cunningham and Wendy Wicks and it's published by the National Federation of Abstracting and Information Services. c.1992
