Published in 2009, the second edition of the Guide to Civil Engineering Projects In and Around New York City has been significantly expanded since the first edition was released in 1997. It is now packed with 140 pages of history, technical details, photos, and maps for many of New York City's engineering projects, several of which have been designated Historic Civil Engineering Landmarks by the ASCE while others are National Historic Landmarks, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, or landmarked by the City of New York.
