This was my first Karen Robards' book and will probably be my last. I don't care for her writing style (run-on sentences galore, painstaking detail ex: "she went to the fridge, got out a glass, poured the milk, drank the milk" etc...). As far as the story itself, things start out very fast-paced, but somewhere along the way it lost steam. It picked up again about half-way through and I couldn't put it down. Once I finished, I was left thinking WTF??? That was it?? That was the ending?? Without giving away too much information, I just prefer books that have that "ah-ha" moment in the end when you tie everything together. For me, this just didn't deliver. What a waste!

Great book. I couldn't wait to find out what would happen.
I really liked this one! Fast paced, great characters - - will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end....and what's more, a wonderful ending!
