This is a GREAT book for school age/older preschool children. My 3 year old loves it. I tear up every time I read it lol. My husband is a Marine, and this book does a great job of presenting all the branches of service. The main text is the "A is for Armed Services" bit, but on each letter/page there is at least 2 paragraphs with more detail about the topic. This would be great reference material for a child wanting to learn more about the military. Overall, when I get this book from my wishlist, I'm going to add it to our permanent library. It's a great, very accurate book I'd be proud to keep.
