If you've ever thought of getting into Robert Ludlum's books, this is a good place to start! This audio is the "first" in the "Covert One" series by Ludlum. Unfortunately, I started the series with "Cassandra Compact", which I thoroughly enjoyed, and as a result, decided to go back to the beginning of the series and start over. This book kept me interested in the characters and the plot, although this book is a lot "lighter" and less complex than the regular Ludlum novel, it still contains the high level of suspense and plot twists that his fans have come to expect. This book is an "above average" thriller, which, when you stop to think about the story-line, is almost prophetic. If you remember the SARS outbreak, and the ever lurking EBOLA, the premise for this story COULD HAPPEN. It has what I like to call Plausible Probability! I think you'll like this one, the story is gripping and suspenseful, the bad guys are diabolical, the good guys are resourceful beyond reason. This audio is ENTERTAINING, and while straining the limits of belief, it remains a "fun" listen, without crossing the boundary into silliness. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.
