Halloween Author:Jerry Seinfeld, James Bennett (Illustrator) Jerry Seinfeld's humor is shown in the book where he describes going out to get free candy when he was a child. Bright illustrations bring this book to big, bold life.
Everyone wants to be a writer, but not everyone should be.
This book reminded me of when my son is on the verge of falling asleep, but is fighting it, so he trys to ramble his way out of going to bed.
This book is one big run on thought that is reiterated over and over again. My children were bored out of their minds. The writing is somewhat condescending, as if we won't understand his point without him repeating the same thing page after page.
Children are a lot smarter than authors give them credit for. They don't need to be written down to as if they're little morons.
Then again, I'm not a big Seinfeld fan to begin with...
