Anyone order from here before?  I hadn't because their prices were higher than SortFloor and BookCloseouts but a couple weeks ago I made my first order.  VERY happy with what I ordered....I ordered what I thought was a hardcover copy of the works of Victor Hugo for $9.95 and it ended up being a beautiful leatherbound version (a month ago I ordered some leatherbound classics from B&N so it fits in perfectly.)  I also received a beautiful hardcover copy of Chaucer, and a huge, gorgeous tome of Le Morte D'Arthur, each for $7, I think.  I'm starting to get into the collecting aspect, and these are really nice additions!

I've ordered from them in the past.  I ordered some jewelry making books.  Everything went smoothly.  Occasionly, I get a newspaper catalog from them.

Oh, THANK YOU for pointing out this site.  I just began building a classics section to my library in leatherbound and good quality hardcovers, and this site has a number of books that have me positivly drooling.  I ordered two books immediately and I'm eyeing a set of Dickens that I really, really want, dagnabit.

Michelle, I also bought some leatherbound classics from B&N! I got mine just a few weeks after Christmas when they were having an excellent sale on these books. I bought six books, but since then, I've wished that I'd bought more.

I went to a thrift store near me this past weekend, and they had a beautiful set of leather bound classics for sale. They were in excellent condition, but they were asking way too much money for them. I'll admit that it was very HARD for me to walk away without having that set in my cart. ;-)

I would really like to find some very nice hardcovers of the Dumas books, but I can only find them for his most well known works.

I don't know if it's good or bad that you have introduced me to another site that sells books cheaply. Thanks, I think. lol

I bought 7 or 8 of those B&N leatherbound classics, too.  That was what got me started on it.

When I had first seen the leatherbounds at B&N I wanted to buy a ton of them; I bought 4 and put the rest on my holiday wish list, and my family all stated they were going to get me things from that list.  Pffffttt!  Didn't happen, so after the holidays I went back online and none of the other books I wanted were available anymore!  Still pouting about it!!

I can't tell you how much $$$ I spent at Hamilton Books about 10 years ago. Great place for some cheap little gems. The newer & popular stuff is always more expensive, but I was never interested in that.

Like another hole in the head, I just placed another order with them. I've also found they have a ton of dvds, too (one I got is The Madness of King George--good stuff!) I just ordered 18 items, books and dvds both, and they sent me a free shipping coupon (thank goodness, I have a feeling this box is gonna be heavy, or put into 2 boxes!)
