I thoroughly enjoyed this novel! I was gripped by the way that the author developed the story through an engaging series of communications between the narrator and the people he meets and helps. This book was recommended to me by a friend who is a budding author herself. It was an intelligent as well as entertaining read.

I loved this book. Very entertaining, funny, with many many interesting characters. I am really glad I found this book/author here at PaperBackSwap. Now I want to read more of Carolyn See. This book will make you think about your own life, about what's important, about being grateful. It was sad, but it was happy. Good read.
