I listed this Friday and nobody has requested it. Although not the best in the world, it has a certain appeal if you've read all the others. Anyway it's been read once, is the book club edition, and is in great shape. The other "versions" are on the wishlist.

You should post in the Book Bazaar if it is a wishlisted book and someone will request it quickly. I have that book in my TBR pile but am not too anxious to get to it because I have heard not so good things about it.

I watched the movie when it hit theatres. Its not the Hannibal that fans love. Its a good one but different. I think a lot of people were expecting a young Anthony Hopkins making slurping noises at Clarice but it was IMO more psychologicaly indepth than that. You get to see where he started and how he became who he was. If you want another installment of Hannibal the Cannibal then you wont get it from this story.

I know I know the book is most assuredly different but thats usually only in what gets left out for time. The story is more than likely the same.

I actually enjoyed this book and came out feeling a bit sorry for him in the end.   It definitely gives you a different view of Hannibal.   I'm sure someone will snatch it up eventually.

I have read it and I thought it was good.

I am relatively new here. Can you tell me what TBR means?

Thanks!

TBR = To Be Read. Here is the PBS Glossary it has most of the commonly used acronyms. http://www.paperbackswap.com/help/help_item.php?id=217
