Last week I went to the post office and mailed about 8 books. Yesterday I got home and 6 of the 8 i mailed were on my doorstep with the wrapping trashed and return to sender not valid postage written on the front. I could murder my postman for it because one of them was left inline with the sprinkler system, and got wet. I didnt stamp these, I took them to the post office and paid at one time to mail all of them. I pm'd everyone whose book I got back and explained and told them I was remailing the book. I also talked with the requestor of the one that got wet. ( I had wrapped it plastic before the outter wrapping so the book was okay, just maybe got a little damp on the edges)
So today I took the books back to the post office with my receipt from before. The post office said they got "mis-stamped" meaning that while i paid for the postage, it didnt print right on the sticker so thats why I got them back. I guess I am glad they were returned to me, as opposed to being lost forever, but it just seems odd. I have never had that happen before.
Anyone else ever got them back from the post office?

For the most part we are okay. My daughter was born at 28 weeks, 1 lb 13 ounces, last December. I would love to say thanks for all those who were so supportive during my hospital stay. We are now up to 9 lbs, and she is almost 7 months. We could have had alot problems that we didnt, so I take that as a positive thing. She is home, but on oxygen and a feeding tube. Some days are a challenge, but somedays are great. We will get there, i have to believe that. All postive thoughts are greatly appreciated.
