I just read Harem and it was GREAT! So, I checked to see what other books this author has written and I found Courtesan. They seem to have the set up: 3 generations of women, a Persian King...Has anyone read Courtesan? Has anyone read both books? If so, would you reccommend reading Courtesan? Or, are the books too similar? Harem had the right amount of everything. It was one of those that you can't put down.

I never heard of the author. Interesting description on AZN, though. Sounds like a cross between HF and erotica.

Sigh. Another for the ever-growing TBR list.

It had some erotica, but it wasn't the full story. The erotica actually fit the story line and wasn't gratuitous. If that makes sense...hahahaha
