Is it necessary to read Harlen Coben's series in order (the one with the former basketball player as the main character). I plan to borrow them from the library, but I don't think the first one is available right now.

I've enjoyed all of his stand alone books that I have read.

thanks!

Sherry

I'd read them in order.  There is a storyline that runs through the series having more to do with Myron's personal life IIRC, than the mysteries themselves.  However, it's been quite awhile since I've read them so I could be mistaken.  They're great books, I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

I asked this question a few months ago and the general consensus was to read them in order, which I'm doing. I just read #2 a couple of weeks ago and have enjoyed both books a lot.

I'm ready for more and will probably request 3 & 4 for when I'm off work the week after Thanksgiving.

Gail - not reading Laura Levine's "Jaine Austen" series

Hi,

Thanks for your replies. I am currently reading "Promise Me" since that was the only book my library had on the shelf. I will put the first book in the series on reserve to read next.

Thank you,

Sherry
