My mom is requesting Harlequin Intrigues (the purple cover, she says) and another Harlequin series, but she doesn't know what the actual name is. She thinks it starts with Modern... Modern Romance? I can't find it on the official website. Do you think it's an older series?

hm..not sure what starts with modern but there's 'intimate moment's that was silhouette. eharlequin.com is the website for harlequin/silhouette. the current intrigues have purple covers but they've had different looks from the time they started til now. Not sure if they still have the intimate moments line(can't keep up with them all!) I like their fairly new line 'next' since most have women in their 30s and up and not so sex-oriented though my faves have some of that in them too!

I found this... if you scroll down a little bit, you'll see "Harlequin Modern Extra Authors", maybe that's it. http://www.nicolamarsh.com/links.html

ETA: They're more well known in the UK and as "Sexy Sensations" in Australia.

Silhouette Intimate Moments was renamed Silhouette Romantic Suspense a couple of months back.

Thanks, Everyone, for your help! Actually, my mom will read any romances that aren't historical romances. She won't admit it but I've been spotting a few Harlequin Blaze books on her shelf.. LOL
