I enjoyed it as much as the first two in this series.

Dr. Kyle Hart seemed able to heal everyone - but himself. The handsome widower had come to Safe Harbor to find peace. But the town matchmakers had other plans for him. Amd Kyle soon hatched a scheme with the spontaneous Gracie Adams to outwit the matchmakers at their own game!

The plot of this book sort of follows the plot of Valerie Hansen's "The Perfect Couple" in which the romantic leads (here, Dr. Kyle Hart and his nurse, Gracie) pretend to be in love since everyone else thinks they're perfect for each other. The most amusing scene is the bachelor auction where Gracie bids on--and wins--her boss, Dr. Hart.

Because the city, Safe Harbor, is in Wisconsin and Green Bay is mentioned briefly, I like to think that the citizens are (a) good Christians and (b) raging Packers fans. The characters from "Home to Safe Harbor" both merit a brief mention in this book.

A few quibbles: Dr. Hart is a neurologist and yet, in a climactic scene, he performs a C-section. No way. Not in real life. The mother's been in an auto accident and the baby's in fetal distress. I don't care how small a town you live in, when that happens, you haul butt to the Big City and get into a level-one trauma emergency room where an OB-GYN will do the honors.

This is the second novel that's featured a medical professional who doesn't do things that would be appropriate for his/her profession in real life. Authors, either do your research properly or make the character a truck driver.

Dr.Kyle Hart seemed able to heal everyone--but himself. The handsome widower had come to Safe Harbor to find peace. But the town matchmakers had other plans for him. And Kyle soon hatched a scheme with the spontaneous Gracie Adams to outwit the matchmakers at their own game!

Kyle thought masquerading as an engaged couple was a billiant solution. But that was before he found solace and a purpose in the small town. And before he fell in love with Gracie. Kyle knew Gracie was exactly what he needed in his life, but she yearned to spread her wings. Could Kyle convince her that the only place she truly belonged was by his side.
