Charles, same here.  I posted some books, all WLed.  They all circled through more than 2 'wishers' before finally being accepted , or in two cases are still on my shelf, no longer Wled.

I figure there are many inactive accounts here and I do my part to weed them out.

Yup, it's those darn inactive accounts clogging up things! It is soooo frustrating and knowing that you are helping to weed out inactive accounts is of very little compensation.

well. The situation may have improved a little bit. I have 4 request presently. One was accepted right away and I thought the other 3 were not going to make it but today on the 5th day one has printed so maybe that one will work. The 2 that are left with no response are on day 5 also so they may die. Those 2 members are both standard members so I wonder what is happening with them.

For me its the opposite.  When I post a wl it is usually accepted in a matter of hours to a day or two.

With the holiday weekend coming up lots of people are traveling...and many members forget to put their accounts on hold. I've lately had several requests that weren't accepted until almost the last possible moment, so don't lose heart just yet!

I'm going through another dry spell. requests timing out and no book. Two of them were hardcover books. Maybe they didn't want to spend the money to send them. funny one of the requests that worked was from an a la carte. The 2 that timed out were full members.

I normally get one book order per week.  I have had 3 ordered already this week!

I just had 2 requests time out on me - one was a WL book, the other was fairly recently posted, and both by members who appear to be still active. Disappointing, to say the least. I wonder if it's possible they're not receiving PBS emails. If they didn't get an email notif and didn't log in for several days, I guess I can see how some things get missed. That brings me to a follow up question: if one of these people who let a request time out were to log in now, would they see any front-page notification that they'd missed a transaction recently? Or would they go on unaware until they happened to look at their transaction archive?
