I suffered from sciatica for about 4 months and i read Mr. Sarno's book and it seriously helped me. It teaches you the concepts about mind over matter. It teaches you about your body and what it can withstand. If you're suffering from sciatica (I was literally couch ridden for months) this book is for you.

This book changed my life. After years of chronic pain I have been pain-free for over four years. Dr. Sarno has a lifetime of experience treating patients and has written with great compassion, insight, and authority. His explanation of the syndrome he calls TMS is clear, understandable and practical. I highly recommend the book to anyone who has "tried everything" and who is open to a new approach.
