one of the best books I've read in recent years. Set in the new, and still conflicted, South Africa, it features "Tiny", on the surface a gofer for a motorcycle garage, but with a past. And from that past comes a plea for help from a friend from the days of the "struggles" that he cannot ignore.
What a complex, fascinating and enthralling story. Deon Meyer is as good as any USA or Scandinavian author, and far far far more original by far. I'd actually like to shake the guy's hand.
