Richard Castle of course!  Actually, I would like to know the answer to this question as well.  I didn't even realize it was a real book until the show last night.

Has anyone read this one yet?  I was tempted to pick it up at Borders last weekend (had a great coupon!)  but decided to get something else.

Don't cha just love that show?   I do!  I loved it last time "Shut the f...ront door!"  (if you didn't see it, you probably have no idea what I am talking about)  It is a laugh out loud show for me!

It's a real book?  I wonder if it's a collaboration of some of the authors that have been on the show doing guest shots?  Seriously?  A real book?  I'm going to have to check that out!!!

I didn't know it was a real book either until someone here mentioned it.  I put it on my wish list asap!

Oh yeah-it is a real book.  Hardcover: $19.99.  It is a bit thin but the price seems reasonable for a new release.

According to Wikipedia, ABC hasn't announced who the author was yet.

They are going to post the first half of the novel on their website, but of course you have to buy it to read the whole thing.

I heard somewhere that it was James Patterson...but I'm sure that's just a rumor.

My local ABC station was running a contest and I won the 1st season DVD and a copy of the book!

I was under the impression from what I have read elsewhere about the book that it was written by the group of writers who also write the TV series.  Don't know if that is true or not.  I want to buy the book locally, but have been unable to find it anywhere except on Amazon.com.  Would be interested in reviews from any who have read it.
