I started out a big Janet E fan back in 1998, with her Stephanie Plum series. After a while that got same old same old. I started listening to the Plum series because I enjoyed the narrators voices. The Diesel series didn't do it for me, I gave up after book one.

If you also found the above to be true, I think you will really love this series. I found it fun, exciting even believable. I love the FOX character, and I am looking forward to O'Hare becoming a more well rounded person because he is in her life. They make a great team. This is worth listening to that is for certain.

Fast-moving and funny. A great beginning for a new series.

Love the new series. The interaction between FBI Special Agent Kate O'Hare and con man Nick Fox was entertaining, as was the heist they pulled off to catch a crooked investment banker. I plan to read the next in the series.

A new series that should prove as entertaining as the Stephanie Plum novels.

Kate O'Hare has been assigned the job of catching a Con Man on the FBI's Most Wanted List... Nick Fox. He has been slippery, playing her for his own ends. But finally she gets ahead of him and catches him in the act! ...only to find that he has struck a deal with the FBI to work for them. Can it be worse? They want Kate to be his partner!

I had not read a Janet Evanovich book before and decided a new series would be the place to start. And a book on CD let me try it before taking the time to sit with a book and investing in the characters. As it turned out this was the perfect medium for this story. It was a good plot and good character development, but not detailed enough to require you build a mental set or world to put them in.

If you enjoyed watching Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality, then order the CD and enjoy watching Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg build a cast of characters that is sure to inspire a series of books to come.
