The book is probably not best read cover to cover. Like Bornstein's gender workbook this book is inviting and easy to skim, but thought provoking. I bought it being a huge fan of Kate's work and having heard of the book way in advance and wanting to see the completed project. I find the chapters well written and assuring for the sorts of days your down on yourself, and honestly wish I had this book when i was teenager and struggled much more with my own identity. Unfortunately though many of the teens who would benifit from this book most, are probably the last people this book will be given to.
