I requested a BOB from another member asking to swap two (2) books.  She accepted and listed the two (2) books she wanted to swap.  Then she sent me a PM requesting two more books quoting my 2 for 1 offer from Book Bazzar.  Is this correct...do I send her two more books or does the BOB stand as a single transaction, swapping book for book

From what I've seen, most people don't apply their Book Bazaar deals to BOB swaps (and I wouldn't expect them to, actually!).  If you don't want to do it, I'd just send her a message back and nicely tell her that the 2 for 1 doesn't apply to BOB swaps and then edit your offer in the Bazaar to say it doesn't include box swaps.  That's just my opinion though!

Ashley,

Thank you for your quick reply.  I thought it didn't seem right, but I'm fairly new to PBS and this situation has never come up in any of my box swaps.  So I thought I would ask for help from people who might know more than I do.

Thanks  :}

It certainly is up to you whether you would like to extend the 2 for 1 to your BoB swaps or not. Depending on the books they have chosen, it may not cost more to mail 4 paperbacks than it will to mail 2. But if you dont want to extend the offer to non-credit swaps, you dont have to. Completely your choice.

If you don't want to send them and don't mean the deal to apply to BOB just politely tell her and offer to cancel.  If you really want the books, then you can send her the books and then edit your bazzar post to exclude future BOB deals.

Like Ashley,  I  wouldn't expect a Bazzar Post to apply to a BOB swap but obviously others see things differently.
