I am trying to track down or make a bracelet like the chunky silver one that C6 or I6 wears.  http://leahthevegan.livejournal.com/539.html

I am still looking for a red dress. I can't find a good wig, so I may have to dye my hair platinum blonde.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated. If I can find stuff for this costume, I will also have to put together a Gaius costume for my husband and I could use ideas for that, too.

I gave up on putting this costume together. Never mind. :)

(I'm assuming you want to do this cheaply.)

Go to your local hardware store get a thick tin sheet and some tin snips.  Cut a bunch of irregular oblong shapes out of the tin, then glue them to any stretchy arm band you can find (leave space between them so the band will still strech over your arm).  You'll want to buff the very sharp edges off the tin - I would ask what they recommend at the hardware store.  Maybe some kind of rasp.

Alternately, you can make the pieces out of modelling clay and then dip them in silver paint or wrap them in aluminum foil.  Again, just glue them to an arm band.

When dealing with sheet metal, use a metal file (file for filing metal) or sandpaper to dull the edges.
