It's about this guy, he's an artist and a poet. His girlfriend has a condition that makes her super easy to bruise, but the bruises go away very quickly. The artist guy uses a brush handle to write poetry on her body, paint or photograph her and the bruises are gone the next day. it's a very strange love/hate story. One of my favorite books ever, you'd think I could remember the title or author....Can anyone help me find it?

No one has heard of it?  I think it came out in the early 90s if that helps.  Along the lines of "Anthony Shriek".

Angelia,

I just suggested to another poster that they post to Yahoo Answers under Arts & Humanities and then Books & Authors, and the third answer gave the title and author of the book she was seeking.  Give it a shot! http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/;_ylt=AnYoYKi.Uhc_9sl1Cc5YYpmIxQt.;_ylv=3?link=list&sid=396545299

Angelia -

I've posted your question at goodreads.com, in a group called "What's the name of that book?"

Rick, that was such a nice thing you did that I took a peek at your bookshelf.  And I even ordered something.  :-)

Okay, I just posted it in the Yahoo Answer forum too. I'm way too curious for my own good.
