Ok, this is making me crazy.  The other day I was organizing and putting series books together to get ready to read them.  I was reading the plots and found one I particularly wanted to read.  The back blurb said something about a "Red headed (I believe American) woman runs in front of a carriage and saves the life of a (visount, earl, baron's) nephew.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

I don't think that is it.  I definitely remember rading the blurb where it said a "Red headed American woman ran in front of a carriage to save the nephew".  That book didn't have the same description.

Sorry I wasn't going by the PBS description I was going from memory. Here's what the back of my copy says..............

....................... That is until a redheaded American throws herself in front of a carriage to save his young nephews life. She's everything Alex never thought a woman could be- smart  and funny, principled and brave. But she's a servant, completely unsuitable for a highborn Duke- unless perhaps, she's not quite what she seems................

Wow, thanks.  You got it!  Since I read the description off the back of the book, I guess that means I own it.  Now, if I could just figure out what in the heck I have done with it!

Anyway, thanks for your help.
