UGH I always hit enter and then have a non question.  SOoooo, here goes.  Take 2!

I am in a reading slump.  *SIGH*  My favorite stuff right now are contemporary stories with strong, non whiny but not b*tchy heroes and heroines.

I like Linda Lael Miller, Lori Foster, Deirdre Martin, Rachel Lee, Susan Andersen.  I like spicy stories but not to the point of erotica.  Maybe just to that point, but not over.  I like sports too ie. Deirdre Martin's hockey series.  I love baseball. (see my Tigers below) I also like cowboy stories (ie.LLM)  Do I make sense?  anyone have a suggestion?  I know you all do.

Thanks!

One of my absolute favorites is Rachel Gibson, especially the Hockey series.   That would be my choice.  Good luck, I can't wait to see what others recommend.

Erin McCarthy, Catherine Anderson, Joan Johnson, JR Ward, Marianne Stillings, Donna Kauffman, Susan Mallory, Cherry Adair, Cindy Gerard-that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I was thinking Marianne Stillings too..I like Jayne Ann Krentz's older stuff(actually all her stuff pretty much)..in fact I pulled out a couple of JAK re-reads that Id ont' remember too well just in case for night shift though I'm planning on reading what I've already picked out but you never know...

Erin McCarthy is fun too. for silly fun Christie Craig is good too. have you read Tara Janzen's 'crazy' series..Iliked the first 4 best and haven't go tten to the 'loose' ones that come after that series. I've read a couple by Susan Donovan t hat were cute..one about a dancing dog and a pet therapist

Susan Mallery, Robin Kaye, Victoria Dahl, Toni Blake, Susan Elizabeth Phillips are some of my favorites.  I read mostly contemporary, spicy but not quite erotica.

Susan Elizabeth Phillips football team books are great! Humorous and really enjoyable.

Kate Angell also writes about a baseball team. They are good, worth reading, but not nearly as entertaining as SEP!

Another vote for Kate Angell.  I read my first Tessa Dare the other day and like it a lot.  It was Goddess of the Hunt. That was a historical regency type if you like those.

Jill Shalvis has a couple of baseball books out now, too!  And I think Gemma Bruce?

I was just going to suggest the Jill Shalvis books. Double Play and Slow Heat are the titles. They are very funny.

Jayne Castle/Krentz also has good heroines and humor (no sports or cowboys, though).

Susan Elizabeth Phillips football series is great. Jill Shalvis is wonderful - no matter what series you read. Julie James writes great contemporaries (not sports related, but good).
