I read a review on Amazon, and it sounded really good. I can't find where I wrote down the title.

It's a historical romance. It opens with a pretty graphic sex scene between the "hero" and his current lover. The hero's sister, who lives in the country, has been scandalized by a young lad. His older sister goes to this "rake" and she attempts to sort out a deal.

I don't know how helpful this is to anyone, but I'd really like some ideas on what it MIGHT be.

i think the girl might have been somewhat disabled or something. I think the lady (heroine) had offered to care for the girl and also be his mistress. Nobody would really know because it was out in the country and she would have the cover of taking care of the girl.

It sounds like The Seduction by Nicole Jordan to me.

I thought Susan Johnson for a second or two as some of her historicals opened w/graphic encounters, but I haven't read enough of her books to make any kind of call on this one.

I actually have that one, and the last in the series, now I just need to find the 3 in the middle...lol.

You may feel differently, but the Seduction was the only one I liked of that series.

This will actually be the first book I've read by Nicole Jordan, so I guess I picked a good one then. Hopefully!
