Help! I am having trouble navigating through PBS. I can usually login and maybe view 1 or 2 pages but after that it seems as though it freezes up. I have javascript enabled and security settings are at med-high as recommended. Usually if I close-out the page and wait awhile I can get back on but with the same results.

What browser are you using?  I usually use Firefox with no trouble.  =]

Google Chrome and IE 8 have problems overall - so if you are using I would install firefox or return to IE7

What helps me is if I turn off the browser, empty the cache, and turn it back on.  And I never use Safari after trying it once.

I had the same trouble a few nights ago. I did a computer restart, and it was better. Also clearing out the cache as suggested might help.

Sorry for the delay but I just now was able to get back on. :)    I use IE7.  I empty the cache and it helps for for a lttle bit but then it's back to the same.  I might try downloading another browser.  Thanks!

make sure google chrome was not downloaded somehow - start/controlpanel/add-remove programs.   Look for any other browser.  I run IE 7 w/o issue.

I've been having trouble with PBS freezing up periodically yesterday and today both (hubby and i both at the same times, so know it is the site, not a browser or computer issue) The programmers are probably installing some new feature for us, and while testing it, there are occasional glitches popping up that only last a few minutes so not everyone is affected by them or sees them. I've seen this with other sites where i knew they were doing maintenance or updates to the site. I just go off and read a book or do soemthing else for a few minutes until the catch the glitch and I can go again.
